Poistion Overview

As the Head of Product Management at Belgium’s leading independent and adventurous travel company, you will report directly to the General Manager and lead a team of 6 Product Managers. Your role is to drive the procurement, development, and management of innovative travel products that align with the company’s goals and resonate with our niche audience.

Key Responsabilities

  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Develop and execute the annual Product Sales Budget and Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with market trends and company objectives. Review quarterly.

  • Sales & Profit: Meet or exceed quarterly sales and gross profit targets. Adjust strategies as needed to address performance shortfalls.

  • Product Management: Source, develop, and distribute innovative travel products, differentiating offerings and negotiating favorable supplier terms.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Product team, ensuring professional development and performance against targets.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Coordinate across departments and participate in management meetings, sharing key supplier insights and facilitating product training for the Sales team.

  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, fostering strong relationships and enhancing brand reputation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Extensive product management experience in the travel or tourism sector.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication abilities.

  • Ability to innovate and adapt to market changes.
