Our Client

Our client, a dynamic software company based in Brussels with a team of 48 professionals, is seeking a Human Resources Manager. This key position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including recruitment, day-to-day HR operations, payroll administration, facility oversight, and fostering employee well-being.

Scope

The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in nurturing the company culture, ensuring efficient HR processes, and creating a supportive atmosphere for all team members. This position is ideal for a versatile and people-oriented professional who thrives in a multifaceted role.

 

Key responsabilities

Recruitment and Talent Sourcing:

  • Drive end-to-end hiring processes, from drafting job advertisements and screening candidates to conducting interviews and managing onboarding.

  • Partner with department leaders to assess staffing requirements and proactively attract top-tier talent.

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with external recruitment agencies and job platforms.

HR Operations and Administration:

  • Manage the full employee life cycle, covering onboarding, ongoing HR support, and offboarding.

  • Address employee concerns while maintaining accurate HR documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Serve as the go-to resource for HR policies, providing clarity and guidance to all team members.

Payroll Coordination:

  • Oversee payroll operations in partnership with the finance team, ensuring timely and precise salary processing.

  • Handle employee benefits, deductions, and statutory reporting to guarantee compliance with payroll legislation.

  • Stay informed on updates to payroll laws and adjust processes accordingly.

Facility Oversight:

  • Manage office resources, vendor contracts, and overall facility upkeep.

  • Coordinate workspace planning and equipment needs for both in-office and remote staff.

  • Ensure the workplace is safe, well-organized, and conducive to productivity.

Employee Engagement and Well-being:

  • Foster a supportive and vibrant work culture through team-building initiatives, wellness activities, and corporate events.

  • Act as a champion for employee well-being, promoting a balanced approach to work and personal life.

  • Collect and analyze employee feedback to enhance satisfaction and address areas needing improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated expertise in HR management, preferably within the tech or IT industry.

  • Solid understanding of HR processes, payroll systems, and labor legislation.

  • Proficiency in French, Dutch, and English.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Self-motivated, capable of independently handling diverse responsibilities.

  • Skilled in using HR management tools and payroll software.
